Author Guidelines

1. Submission of Manuscripts
  • Authors are invited to submit original and unpublished manuscripts that are not under consideration for publication elsewhere. All submissions should align with the journal’s scope in Commerce and Historical Studies.
  • Manuscripts must be submitted in Microsoft Word format (.doc or .docx) through the journal’s official submission system.
2. Types of Contributions

Mercovite accepts the following categories of scholarly work:

  • Original Research Articles
  • Review Articles
  • Conceptual Papers
  • Case Studies
  • Short Communications
  • Book Reviews
3. Manuscript Preparation

Authors should prepare manuscripts according to the following structure:

  • Title (Bold, 18 pt)
  • Author Name
  • Affiliation
  • Email
  • ORCID Id
  • Abstract (150–250 words)
  • Keywords: (3–6 words)
  • 1. Introduction
  • 2. Literature Review
  • 3. Methodology
  • 4. Analysis & Findings
  • 5. Discussion
  • 6. Conclusion
  • References
4. Formatting Requirements

Authors should follow these formatting standards:

  • Word format (.doc/.docx)
  • Page Layout: Normal Margin, Size: A4, Columns: One
  • Times New Roman, 12 pt
  • 1.5 line spacing
  • APA 7th Edition
  • All references cited in the text must appear in the reference list.
  • Page Numbers: bottom right
  • Tables, figures, and illustrations should be clearly labeled and placed within the manuscript where appropriate.
5. Originality and Plagiarism
  • Authors must ensure that their manuscripts are original and free from plagiarism.
  • Proper acknowledgment of sources is required.
  • Manuscripts may undergo plagiarism screening before the review process.
6. Peer Review Process

All submissions undergo a peer review process conducted by reviewers in the relevant field.

Based on the reviewers’ recommendations, the editorial team may decide:

  • Accept
  • Minor Revision
  • Major Revision
  • Reject

The editorial decision is final.

7. Copyright and Open Access
  • By submitting a manuscript, authors grant the journal the right to publish the work in open access format, allowing readers worldwide to access the research freely.
  • Authors retain responsibility for the accuracy and integrity of their work.
8. Ethical Responsibilities

Authors must adhere to academic integrity and ethical research practices. Any form of data fabrication, falsification, or unethical conduct will lead to rejection of the manuscript.
