About the Book

The book “Physiological Impact of Yoga, Health & Fitness on Jewel Industry Employees” presents a comprehensive study on how structured wellness practices can significantly enhance the health and physiological efficiency of workers in the jewel industry. This sector, known for its intricate, detail-oriented tasks and prolonged sitting hours, often subjects its employees to physical strain, muscular tension, stress, and a lack of movement, which may lead to chronic health issues over time.

Drawing from scientific methods and real-world observations, the book explores the role of yoga, health, and fitness programs in improving key physiological parameters such as cardiovascular endurance, respiratory capacity, muscular flexibility, and overall well-being. Through empirical data, case studies, and comparative analysis, it demonstrates how holistic interventions like yoga postures (asanas), breathing techniques (pranayama), and physical fitness routines can serve as effective tools for workplace wellness and occupational health management.

This book is designed for researchers, academicians, physical education professionals, occupational therapists, HR professionals, and industry stakeholders who are interested in integrating health and wellness programs into industrial settings. It also serves as a valuable resource for students pursuing studies in yoga science, physical education, sports science, and industrial health.

By focusing on the often-neglected health needs of jewel industry employees, this book aims to inspire organizations to adopt preventive health strategies, promote employee well-being, and foster a more sustainable and human-centered work environment.
