Author Details
Dr. P. Muthuveera is currently serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Physical Education at Arul Anandar College, Karumathur, Madurai. He holds a Ph.D. in Physical Education from Bharathidasan University, Tiruchirappalli, and earned his B.P.Ed. and M.P.Ed. from Bharathiar University, Coimbatore. He completed his undergraduate studies (B.A.) at Mannar Thirumalai Naicker College, Madurai. A passionate academician and dedicated mentor, Dr. P. Muthuveera is widely recognized for his excellence in research and publication, consistently guiding his students to actively engage in academic work and fostering a strong research culture within his department. In recognition of his outstanding contributions to the field, he has published one book with isbn number & attended presented a paper in 8 National and 46 International Conferences, he was honored with the Best Paper Publisher Research Innovation Award in 2025. Beyond his academic pursuits, he maintains a dynamic presence in the sports arena as a committed member of the Kabaddi Association and has served as an official in YUVA Kabaddi, contributing meaningfully to the sport’s growth at both grassroots and competitive levels. His dedication to both education and sports continues to inspire aspiring physical education professionals and researchers.
Dr. M. Manogaran has proven his commitment and perseverance throughout his academic career. He graduated M. Com., from Sri Ramalinga Sowdambigai College of Science and Commerce, Coimbatore, and M.Phil., Commerce from School of Distance Education, Bharathiar University, Coimbatore, continued B.P.Ed., M.P.Ed., M.Phil., and Ph.D., at Annamalai University, Chidambaram. He has developed versatile knowledge by acquiring degrees such as PG Diplomas in Yoga and Fitness Management. He is a promising physical educationist currently working as a Director of Physical Education in the PPG College of Arts and Science, Saravanampatti, Coimbatore, with 15 years of experience in this field. He is an athlete, a Mallakhamb player, and a qualified official in athletics. He has published 4 National and 2 International Journal. His research focuses on the integration of traditional sports into modern physical education curricula, aiming to enhance student engagement and physical fitness. With a passion for promoting health and wellness, he actively conducts workshops and seminars to inspire both students and educators in the field.
Dr. S. Mariappan is a distinguished academic and sports professional, currently serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Physical Education at Kamaraj College (Autonomous), Thoothukudi. He holds a Ph.D. and M.P.Ed. from Manonmaniam Sundaranar University, and completed his B.P.Ed. at St. John’s College of Physical Education, Veeravanallur, Tirunelveli. His undergraduate degree was obtained from The M.D.T. Hindu College, Pettai, Tirunelveli.
Dr. Mariappan has made significant scholarly contributions, authoring 15 research publications including one SCOPUS Journal, presenting 12 papers, publishing 6 conference proceedings, and securing 2 patents. He is a life member of the Sports Psychology Association of India (SPAI) and has actively engaged in numerous academic initiatives, including national and international seminars, webinars, workshops, faculty development programs (FDPs), and awareness programs. His commitment to lifelong learning is further demonstrated by his successful completion of an NPTEL course and the organization of an online quiz.
In addition to his academic endeavors, Dr.Mariappan is actively involved in sports coaching and officiating. He serves as a coach and referee in multiple sporting disciplines, including athletics and yoga, and has functioned as a Technical Official at the All India Inter-University Athletic Tournament for two consecutive years (2021–2023).
Dr. Mariappan is also a regular contributor to academic conferences, delivering lectures, paper presentations, and keynote addresses that reflect his dedication to advancing the field of physical education.
Dr. P.Suriya is a distinguished academic and sports professional currently serving as an Assistant Professor at Department of Physical Education, St.Xavier’s College (Autonomous), Palayamkottai, Tirunelveli. Dr. P.Suriya holds a Ph.D., M.Phil., and M.P.Ed from Manonmaniam Sundaranar University. He had received gold medal in M.P.Ed degree. He was passed the UGC NET examination in two times during December- 2018 & 2019. He received national fellowship from UGC New Delhi for doing his research work. He completed his UG degree in St. John’s College of Physical Education, Veeravanallur, Tirunelveli. He has made significant scholarly contributions with 23 research publications, 15 paper presentations, 10 proceedings, and 1 patents. He has been life member of Indian Academic Research Association (IARA). Additionally, he has actively participated in numerous academic events, including seminars, webinars (both National and International), Workshops, FDPs, and Awareness programs. His dedication to continuous learning is evident from his completion of two NPTEL Courses and organization of an online quiz.
He act as a coach and referee across multiple sporting disciplines, including athletics and yoga. His multidimensional involvement in both practical and theoretical aspects of physical education allows him to bridge the gap between scholarly knowledge and on-field application. He is a regular presenter at academic conferences and has delivered numerous lectures, paper presentations, and keynote addresses.
