Abstract

This article provides a comprehensive overview of the fertilizer industry in India and examines the profitability of three selected fertilizer companies over a five-year period. The study aims to identify trends, compare financial performance, and analyze key profitability ratios. The findings of the research offer valuable insights into the economic health of the industry and support strategic recommendations for enhancing company-level performance. Data has been collected from secondary sources and analyzed using profitability ratios such as Net Profit Ratio, Return on Assets, and Return on Net Worth.
