Abstract Book Publication

Dr. BGR Publications | India
Scholarly Abstracts. Professional Publishing. Global Accessibility.

Introduction

Dr. BGR Publications provides digital publishing services for scholarly abstract books across a broad range of academic disciplines. We support researchers, faculty members, academic institutions, conference organisers, and corresponding authors in preparing professionally structured abstract collections for scholarly dissemination and online accessibility.

Our Abstract Book Publication service accommodates research abstracts associated with online, offline, and hybrid academic conferences, as well as independently compiled abstract collections that are not associated with a formal conference or organised event.

Each proposal is considered according to its academic scope, manuscript requirements, editorial suitability, and publication objectives.

Our Abstract Book Publication Services

1. Conference Abstract Books

We support the publication of abstract collections prepared for academic conferences, seminars, symposia, research meetings, and other scholarly gatherings conducted in online, offline, or hybrid formats. These publications may document the event theme, organising institution, editorial or organising committee, and accepted research abstracts, where applicable.

2. Independent Abstract Collections

A formal conference or academic event is not a prerequisite for this service. Researchers, faculty members, academic departments, and institutions may propose a standalone collection of eligible research abstracts for editorial assessment and digital publication. Such publications are presented as independent abstract collections and are not described as conference publications unless a corresponding event has genuinely taken place.

3. Institutional and Departmental Abstract Books

Colleges, universities, academic departments, research centres, and other eligible institutions may propose subject-specific abstract collections reflecting their research activities, academic initiatives, or thematic scholarly contributions. Institutional identity, editorial responsibility, contributor information, and the proposed publication scope must be clearly documented.

Scope of Content

Subject to editorial assessment, proposed abstract books may include:

  • Original research abstracts
  • Review-based research summaries
  • Case-study abstracts
  • Interdisciplinary research abstracts
  • Departmental and institutional research collections
  • Thematic abstract collections

The inclusion of a submission does not, by itself, constitute independent verification of its findings or a claim of reviewed status.

Publication Features

Professional Editorial Formatting: Accepted manuscripts are prepared for publication through structured editorial screening, consistency checks, bibliographic preparation, and formatting. Corrections or clarifications may be requested before final approval.

Digital Publication: Approved abstract books are published in digital format under the agreed publishing arrangement. Publication details and access information are provided through the publisher's website.

ISBN Assignment: A 13-digit e-ISBN may be assigned to an eligible abstract book, subject to the applicable ISBN requirements and approval. ISBN identifies the eligible book publication; it does not certify academic quality, review, or indexing.

DOI Assignment: DOI assignment may be arranged for eligible publications where the applicable registration requirements are met.

Dedicated Book Webpage: A dedicated webpage may provide the book title, publication details, editorial or organising information, bibliographic metadata, and access to the digital publication, as applicable.

Editorial and Publication Workflow

Step 1 — Proposal Submission

Submit the proposed title, subject area, publication purpose, estimated number of abstracts, responsible contact person, and expected publication timeline.

Step 2 — Initial Editorial Assessment

The proposal is assessed for academic relevance, scope, feasibility, completeness, and publication suitability. The publisher may request additional information before accepting the proposal.

Step 3 — Manuscript Submission

Following proposal approval, submit a consolidated manuscript containing the abstracts and complete author information in the prescribed format.

Step 4 — Editorial Screening and Formatting

The submitted collection undergoes editorial screening and formatting. Inconsistencies, incomplete details, and other matters requiring clarification may be referred to the corresponding author or authorised coordinator.

Step 5 — Final Proof Approval

The final proof is shared with the designated representative for verification of the title, author names, affiliations, abstract content, and publication information.

Step 6 — Publication Preparation

After final approval and completion of the applicable documentation and charges, the publisher prepares the digital publication and confirms the applicable bibliographic identifiers and publication details.

Step 7 — Online Publication

The approved abstract book is published online with the applicable webpage and metadata.

Processing Charges

Processing charges are determined on a project-specific basis, taking into account the manuscript length, number of abstracts, formatting requirements, editorial workload, publication specifications, and requested services.

A quotation outlining the applicable services and charges will be provided after the proposal has been assessed. Any additional services will be confirmed before the project proceeds.

e-ISBN and DOI identifiers are not represented as paid endorsements or guarantees of academic recognition. Charges, where applicable, relate to the agreed publishing, processing, production, and dissemination services.

Publication Ethics and Responsibilities

  • Dr. BGR Publications expects all contributors and authorised representatives to observe responsible scholarly publishing practices.
  • Submitted abstracts must be original or appropriately authorised for publication.
  • Authors are responsible for the accuracy of their contributions, author details, affiliations, references, and declarations.
  • Duplicate submissions, plagiarism, fabricated information, and unauthorised use of third-party material are not acceptable.
  • The corresponding author or authorised coordinator is responsible for confirming the completeness and accuracy of the consolidated manuscript.
  • Conference details, institutional affiliations, editorial responsibilities, and publication claims must be accurate and verifiable.
  • Publication is subject to editorial approval and completion of the applicable documentation and publication requirements.

Editorial screening and formatting do not constitute peer review. Where a project requires independent subject-expert review, this must be separately agreed and explicitly documented.

Important Publication Information

An abstract book is a collection of abstracts and should not be confused with full-text conference proceedings or a reviewed issue.

Conference-associated collections must accurately identify the relevant event. Independent collections must be presented as standalone abstract publications without implying that a conference, seminar, or other event took place.

e-ISBN assignment, DOI registration, online availability, metadata dissemination, and external indexing are distinct services. Their availability depends on the relevant eligibility criteria and registration or platform policies.
