Artificial Intelligence (AI) Image Manipulation Policy

Policy governing the ethical use of AI-assisted image generation and image manipulation in scholarly publishing.

🖼️

Introduction

Dr. BGR Publications is committed to safeguarding the integrity, authenticity, and transparency of all visual content published in its journals, conference proceedings, books, and scholarly publications.

The rapid advancement of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies has introduced powerful tools capable of generating, modifying, enhancing, and transforming images. While these technologies can support scientific communication and improve visual presentation, their use must never compromise research integrity, misrepresent scientific findings, or mislead readers.

This policy establishes the principles governing the ethical use of AI-assisted image generation and image manipulation throughout the editorial and publication process. Authors, reviewers, editors, and contributors are expected to ensure that all submitted visual materials accurately represent the underlying research and comply with internationally accepted standards of publication ethics.

Any use of Artificial Intelligence for the creation, enhancement, or modification of images must be fully transparent, appropriately disclosed where applicable, and must not alter, fabricate, conceal, or misrepresent scientific data or research outcomes.

Dr. BGR Publications reserves the right to request original image files, source data, or additional documentation whenever necessary to verify the authenticity and integrity of submitted visual materials.

This policy applies to all submissions received by Dr. BGR Publications and will be reviewed periodically to reflect evolving international publishing standards, ethical guidance, and technological developments in Artificial Intelligence.
